Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews were both stars in their own right before meeting during filming for Channel 4 competition show The Jump in 2017.
But together they are a force to be reckoned with, having won over a legion of fans with their popular self-titled podcast – and they’ve just finished a run of live shows bringing their hilarious rapport and banter to the big stage.
However, there’s a serious side to this high-profile couple, who tied the knot in 2018 and share children Theodore, five, Gigi, four, and two-year-old Otto. Spencer, 35, recently addressed body shamers on Instagram, who told him he looked ill. Irish model Vogue has also had issues with online backlash and talks about receiving nasty comments about her body.
Former Made In Chelsea star Spencer – or “Spenny” as Vogue, 38, calls him – has also been very honest about his alcoholism issues previously and the tragic death of his brother, Michael, on Mount Everest.
Here, the couple open up on calling out the trolls, family life in London and taking on challenges…
Hi Vogue. How’s life?
Life is good. Life is busy. The kids are great!
Now that your podcast live tour with Spencer is over, what are you up to?
I’ve taken on quite a few more projects, so I’m busy. I’m doing a lot of writing now. Not a book though, I’m writing something else with my director. I can’t say what it is just yet.
Spencer recently opened up about being body shamed online. You also have to deal with horrible comments online. How do you cope with that?
Weirdly, I’ve become immune to a lot of that stuff. It doesn’t really bother me.
You said before that Spencer always told you not to pay attention to it, but he didn’t take his own advice this time…
