THE irony wasn't lost on Gisele Bündchen when her ex, Tom Brady, consulted her before announcing he was retiring from the NFL for a second year in a row. "She thought it was the right time to retire," an insider tells Star. "Of course, she thought last year was the right time, and he unretired against her advice." That move has been largely blamed for the pair's 2022 divorce, but the Brazilian beauty has moved on. "She didn't even bother to point out that they might still be together if he'd stuck with his first retirement," says the insider. "She can honestly say she's happier this way."
The 42-year-old has said she put her career on hold to support Tom and their two kids, Benjamin, 13, and 10-year-old Vivian. Not anymore. The supermodel has been spotted doing shoots in Florida, looking sleek as ever in daring swimwear. "She's so happy to be working again," says the insider. "She's got her life back and it feels so good."
