LISA MARIE PRESLEY can rest easy. Five months after the 54-year-old’s shocking death, the singer’s mother, Priscilla Presley, and daughter Riley Keough have settled their legal dispute over control of the Presley family trust, reportedly worth between $400 and $500 million. “The family is happy, unified, together and is excited for the future,” Priscilla’s attorney said after the May 16 hearing in an L.A. court. The Daisy Jones & the Six actress’ lawyer simply said, “Riley is content.”
It remains to be seen whether attorneys on both sides will file a motion to have the settlement filed under seal, but sources tell Star Riley, 33, and Priscilla decided to put family over fortune. “They both made concessions,” says an insider. “Riley never wanted to fight her grandmother and Priscilla didn’t like the situation, either. They decided it’s better to get along.”
Tough Decision
“Riley was protective of her mom during her custody battle with Michael,” says an insider, “but sees the wisdom of everyone getting along.”
