“Seeing how respectful he is to not only elders but also his peers is so heartwarming,” the TV personality, 41, told Us while promoting her new PrettyLittleThing collection. “I always made sure to instill in him how kindness can go a long way.” Here, she dishes on life with her teen.
Q: What’s your biggest parenting challenge lately?
I wouldn’t call it a challenge, but letting go and letting my son make his own decisions and learn from them can be bittersweet.
Q: Do you deal with mom guilt?
I hate to have time away from my son, but I want him to see the importance of a work ethic and to take that with him as he gets older. When I’m on set filming for a long time, I come back home for the weekend.
