There's been no shortage of drama surrounding Olivia Wilde's upcoming psychological thriller, Don't Worry Darling. In the months leading up to the film's Sept. 23 release, Wilde and boyfriend Harry Styles - who went public in January 2021, shortly after the director split from longtime fiancé Jason Sudeikis - have dominated headlines. Not only do rumors continue to churn about their reported on-set affair, but there's also talk concerning behind-the-scenes feuds between Wilde and Styles' costar Florence Pugh, as well as troubled actor Shia LaBeouf, whom Styles replaced.
It's not exactly what Styles signed up for when he took the role. But sources tell Us the 28-year-old One Direction alum is under Wilde's spell - and so wrapped up in her charms he's willing to risk everything for her, including his reputation and acting career. "Harry falls hard without concern of any collateral damage," shares a Styles source. "He's completely enchanted by Olivia." A second source says there are concerns that if Wilde (who shares son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 5, with Sudeikis) goes down in flames, Styles will go with her. "Olivia has become a polarizing figure in certain Hollywood circles," notes the source. "Harry will have to deal with the consequences of that."
UNDER FIRE
According to a third source, Wilde, 38, was still with Sudeikis when she and Styles began seeing each other. "Olivia's relationship with Harry started as an affair; it's as simple as that," the source says. A Sudeikis insider claims the actor, 46, was humiliated when he found out. "Ted Lasso was getting all of this critical acclaim and breaking records," says the insider of Sudeikis' hit comedy. "The world saw Jason as this happy-go-lucky superstar, but behind closed doors, he was really hurting. He still is."
