THE FALLOUT FROM THAT VERY PUBLIC BUST-UP IN NOOSA CONTINUES AS THOSE INVOLVED IN THE INCIDENT STAY SILENT

Michael Clarke made an M awkward return to his radio show on January 23, almost a week after his public bust-up with girlfriend Jade Yarbrough in Noosa made headlines across the country. The 41year-old, who chose not to comment while on the airwaves, was stunned into silence on Sky Sports Radio's Big Sports Breakfast when a female listener called in to defend him over the incident, which took place in a public park earlier this month, forcing one of his co-hosts to step in and say, "It's a private matter."

The incident in question happened while the couple were on holidays in Queensland with Today host Karl Stefanovic, his wife Jasmine - Yarbrough's sister and celebrity accountant Anthony Bell. In footage filmed by an onlooker and later sold to The Daily Telegraph, Clarke and Yarbrough were seen in a heated exchange - with the latter accusing the cricket star of cheating with his ex, fashion designer Pip Edwards, on December 17.
