ΚΑΤE'S BIG WEEK!

While the fewer number of official engagements she completes each year compared to other working British royals has seen the Princess of Wales be labelled as work-shy in the past, no-one could accuse Kate of not pulling her weight during the first week of July. The busy mother stepped out looking gorgeous to help promote important causes and support King Charles four times in just three days.

Kate’s hectic schedule kicked off on July 4, when she stepped out to enjoy the second day of Wimbledon with Roger Federer. The career of the eight-time champion, who retired last year, was celebrated with a brief ceremony and a 90-second standing ovation as he joined the princess in the Royal Box.

Following a quick change into a blue polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich, Kate joined her husband Prince William, both 41, in London for a tea party to celebrate the 75th birthday of the National Health Service. Arriving early, the pair helped ice cupcakes and hang up decorations.

While laying out tablecloths, the princess finally settled the great age-old British debate about how one should take their scones. “I do jam and then cream,” Kate explained.

The next day the couple headed up to Scotland to join King Charles and Queen Camilla for National Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication at St. Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh. The event saw her father-in-law, 74, presented with the Scottish honours, including the country’s crown jewels, so it has been widely dubbed as the ‘Scottish coronation’.
