Filmed over four days and directed by Michael himself in conjunction with legendary designer Manfred Thierry Mugler, who also styled the shoot, the clip cost nearly a million dollars – a fortune at the time. ‘Too Funky’ will always be a track we want on repeat, but 30 years on, it’s the video that’s become truly iconic.
