THE STALLONES ARE CALLING TIME ON THEIR MARRIAGE, AFTER MORE THAN TWO DECADES TOGETHER

Jennifer Flavin is done. The former model and long-suffering wife of action star Sylvester Stallone has filed for divorce after 25 years of marriage. Flavin, 54, said in a statement, “I’m sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone. While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than a 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters.” Hours later, the 76-year-old shared a statement of his own. He said, “I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.”

News of the split came as a shock for fans of the twosome, who, despite his alleged philandering, stayed married for aeons in Hollywood terms. While neither star has revealed the cause of the split, speculation abounds. Flavin has booted Stallone from their marital home in Florida and demanded their $600 million fortune be “equitably distributed”, according to court documents. She also claims Stallone “engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets, which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate” and said the marriage was “irretrievably broken”.
