THE ACTRESS TALKS LOVE, WAR AND WORKING WITH HER HUSBAND

'We're SOULMATES

Kirsten Dunst once called Jesse Plemons her "creative soulmate" after meeting on the set of their TV series, Fargo, in 2015. But it wasn't until 2016 that they would take things to the next level.

In Dunst's case, when life gives you Plemons, you make movies - and babies.

In 2024, they're parents to sons Ennis, 5, and James, 2-and they're back sharing the big screen. In new dystopian thriller Civil War, Dunst plays photojournalist Lee, who is covering inter-state warfare in a future America, while Plemons portrays a soldier who threatens her.

"To [Lee], the camera is like an extension of her arm so it was a lot for me to get to that point. She's tough, she's smart and she's fighting to survive with her team," the 41-year-old tells WHO, adding that working with her husband again, three years after they both starred in Jane Campion's The Power of the Dog, was a dream come true. "I loved it. We both love to work together.

"We're soulmates at home and at work," she gushes, amused by the suggestion their sons Ellis and James might join the "family business" too. "I wouldn't be opposed because it's kind of like a family business [laughs]. I don't think it has to be a negative thing but am I going throw my kid into acting? No."
