The monitor for all occasions?

THERE CAN BE MANY factors to consider when choosing a display, depending on whether you’re using your PC for work and whether that work relies on a color-accurate screen. If you’re looking at a gaming monitor, then chances are it’ll prioritize a high refresh rate over color accuracy. Not so with BenQ with the Mobiuz EX3210U, which offers a monitor with 4K resolution, a gamer-friendly 144Hz refresh rate, and a wide color range. So does that make the EX3210U the ultimate all-in-one monitor?

32-inch monitors are often considered right on the cusp of being too large for a desk setup, but they deserve a look if you can mount one properly. Depending on your layout, this could double up as an internet TV, or a gaming monitor, or just a general display for daily PC procrastination. On the whole, this monitor feels sturdy and well put together, with a two-piece stand to evenly disperse its weight. It has a 5° tilt, swivels left and right at up to 15°, and can be vertically adjusted too.

The back of the monitor features a white shell with Mobiuz branding, subtle RGB lighting, and True Sound by treVolo. These speakers offer a warm sound, which is good enough for a monitor and general media consumption. If you expect something with detailed high-ends, you may be disappointed, but on the whole, they perform admirably. Below this is where all of the connectivity options lie, including two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 socket. An extra DisplayPort and maybe a USB-C would have been welcome, but at least what’s here is neatly covered by a shroud.
