NEW COOKERY
The Great Celebrity Bake Off
Sunday, 7.45pm, C4

Another brave bunch of famous faces are stepping into the white tent, cranking up their food mixers and showing off their baking skills for a new five-part run of C4’s popular cookery show The Great Celebrity Bake Off.

Each week, four celebrities will compete against each other to win over judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith in an attempt to nab a coveted Star Baker apron, while also aiming to raise vital funds for charity Stand Up to Cancer.

Here, Hollywood, 57, and Leith, 83, tell us more…

David Schwimmer is in this week’s opening episode. How did you get on with him?

Hollywood I was a big fan of Friends, so it was lovely. He’s a nice guy, very chilled out. But he wanted to do well.
Leith I was surprised at how serious and determined he was.

Who else did you enjoy seeing in the tent?

Leith Deborah Meaden’s an old friend. She’seen as a tough businesswoman, so t was lovely to show that she’s nice. nd Tom Daley is a knitter, so ecoration was his thing.
Hollywood I’m a fan of Jay Blades you could see he works with his ands, he’s meticulous. Paddy cGuinness was lovely to catch up ith, and David Morrissey put a smile on people’s faces.
