Friday Night Live
Between 1985 and 1988, C4’s comedy show Saturday Live which later became Friday Night Live was must-watch TV and made household names out of comedians such as Harry Enfield, Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, as well as sparkly suit-wearing motormouth host Ben Elton.
Now, as part of C4’s 40th birthday celebrations, the show is being revived with a one-off special, compéred once again by Elton, and featuring Enfield, other comedy legends from the original series, plus some up-andcoming comedians.
