There was a time when Nicola believed she'd never get justice for the vicious beating she sustained at the hands of those horrible girls. But thanks to Charles' new-found daughter Naomi speaking up - who, it coincidentally turned out, was a bystander during the attack - the loud-mouthed lowlifes are now facing the music.
Understandably, Nicola is on tenterhooks as she heads to court.
'She doesn't want the girls to see that she is scared,' says Nicola Wheeler, who plays her. But she also feels that it's part of her healing to sit in the dock with pride and testify against them.'
Naomi, too, is nervous, knowing that her former friends will be gunning for her.
