In what will be remembered as one of the most anticipated debut collections of 2023, Pharrell Williams presented his vision for Louis Vuitton menswear Spring/ Summer 2024, inspired by hip-hop fashion over the decade. William’s debut pushed the conventions of bringing out a collection that embraces the house’s signature style. The campaign reflects his philosophy of the sun being the universal source of life and a brilliance that energises and heals.
The sun’s impact can be seen across the whole collection in the rays interpreted as graphics, the warm colour scheme, and the shimmering surface accents that gild the garments and accessories. The men’s collection also featured artworks by Henry Taylor of micro embroideries on tailoring and denim, as well as accessories.
