FESTIVE FLORALS
Grazia India|July 2023
Aayushi Maniar has managed to carve a niche for herself in India's fashion industry through an eye for traditional techniques that effortlessly lend themselves to contemporary styles
FESTIVE FLORALS

The Indian fashion industry is a blooming scene, with talented designers and brands coming into the spotlight with every passing day. Standing out isn't easy, but Aayushi Maniar's eponymous label is a lotus in a garden of roses. Her brand has been built on the kind of deep passion that takes root in childhood, with her fascination for fashion arising when her sister brought home a fashion illustration book. And that was that - Maniar knew what she wanted to do at the tender age of thirteen. What began as curiosity became a flourishing career as she pursued design professionally at Mod'Art International & Istituti Callegari Milano.

She got her first big break in the industry when she had the opportunity to work with renowned fashion stylist Allia Al Rufai, where she assisted in styling Bollywood celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Nargis Fakhri, Yami Gautam, Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Kangana Ranaut, and more. Now celebrities and influencers like Masoom Minawala, Soha Ali Khan, Jonita Gandhi, Aanam C, Prachi Desai, and more don her joyous creations for various festivals and occasions.
