Seventeen years ago, luxury house Louis Vuitton launched a special campaign, Core Values, to uphold their brand’s ideals and their consistent association with icons from different walks of life. A new chapter now sees the light of the day as the brand has relaunched this campaign with two legends that the world looks up to: Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
Captured by fashion’s favourite photographer Annie Leibovitz, Core Values 2024 shows Nadal and Federer ascending the summit of Italy’s Dolomites mountain range together – indicating their journey in life and the ups and downs that they have been through, but not succumbed to. As opposed to the tennis court, Federer and Nadal are not competitors but companions here, which is also a testament to their mutual admiration and deep respect for each other’s sportsmanship.
