
Before quiet luxury, there was Delvaux. Established in Belgium in 1829 (a year before the Kingdom of Belgium was born), the brand is the oldest luxury leather goods company in the world, and it has been the official purveyor of the Royal Court of Belgium since 1883. Its founder Charles Delvaux started as a luggage maker, but after realising the needs and wants of women who’d like to keep their precious belongings at hand, the visionary filed its first patent for handbags in 1908, and the rest is history.
