The Chiffre Rouge is a man of mystery. Launched in 2004 under the creative guidance of then-Dior Homme designer Hedi Slimane, it was poised to be the masculine face of the Maison's timekeeping division. Handsome, stylish, and fiercely independent, the watch plays by its own rules, coming and going as it pleases. At La Chaux-de-Fonds where the collection is created and produced, no one is concerned with the couture calendar. In fact, they're quite casual about regular releases; the last Chiffre Rouge appearance was almost a decade ago.
