The past year alone with a host of Thai celebrities attending everything from Fashion Week to achieving ambassadorships - gave us a glimpse of the Kingdom's talents blossoming into their own. It is a rhythm that fluctuates in tandem with its regional predecessors, but now that "Thai Wind" has found its place in the widespread pop-culture sphere all that remains is speculation about what lies ahead.
Sitting in between the present and its future is "Blue" Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen - who despite being just a few years into his undoubtedly young and expanding career has already been connected to the fan bases of NCT, Korean variety programmes and the sweet spots of luxury fashion.
The 23-year-old's role as Aran in TV3's The Family may have given him just the right amount of attention to start, but his burgeoning rise can be traced to Food Truck Battle: Season 2 - Blue made his first connection between Thailand and South Korea with guest stars Ten and YangYang of WayV/NCT and Woodz.
"Engaging with new people and making friends during the Food Truck project was ultimately enjoyable," shares Blue. "While overcoming the language barriers was challenging, the supportive and friendly atmosphere made the production smoother."
