For her first time inspecting the troops as Colonel of the Irish Guards, the Princess of Wales chose the perfect date in the calendar. Kate and husband William made their visit to Aldershot a joint engagement on St Patrick’s Day, with the Princess wearing the most gorgeous teal green outfit.

And the couple were obviously feeling loved up – their private looks and body language revealing the full force of their relationship. Despite an increased workload since moving up the royal ladder, the pair appear happier than ever, with these pictures capturing a marriage in great shape.
