I have been close to the Yogendra family, and have had the luck and privilege to see the genius of the Yogendras at work here at The Yoga Institute.
On this great occasion of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Shri Yogendraji, the Founder of The Yoga Institute, I share about the vision of the Yogendras in spreading yoga all over the world. It has been a wonderful, unbroken work of total dedication for over a hundred years.
Their work in yoga has been multidimensional, graphically called protean work. Paramhamsa Madhavdasji of Malsar, Gujarat, enjoined Shri Yogendraji to teach yoga for householders. Until then, yoga was kept a secret and practiced only by Yogis.
