HOW DID YOU COME TO BE INVOLVED IN THIS PROJECT?
The clients, a couple with four children, had seen my work and sought me out.
WHAT WAS THE BRIEF?
The client knew what she wanted and arrived at the first meeting with three design books to show us what inspired her. She wanted a scheme that was feminine and incorporated elements of French style, with some colour and pattern for interest.
HOW INVOLVED WERE THE HOMEOWNERS?
They weren't very involved. I gave a presentation to the wife and she confirmed everything and then trusted me.
DESCRIBE THE HOMEOWNER'S STYLE.
Her style is definitely Southern with French touches - it is rooted in classicism with French flair.
WHAT WERE THE BIGGEST PRIORITIES FOR THE HOMEOWNER AND WHAT WERE YOUR MAIN PRIORITIES?
