IT’S THE SEASON of new openings and many high-profile celebrities have been flying to Kuala Lumpur for this very reason. Much buzz has been surrounding the newly opened The Exchange TRX, which has been a magnet for well-acclaimed stars.
Part of this merriment is Coach Malaysia with its exceptionally successful opening. The brand has welcomed two idols to the foray – South-Korean singer Kim Yu-geom and Thai actor-singer Nanon Korapat Kirdpan. Their presence saw thousands of cheering fans surrounding the facade of the new outlet.
Augustman Malaysia had the opportunity to speak to the two celebrities, where they shared their thoughts and plans for 2024.
A HALLYU DAZE ON YUGEOM
Known from his earlier acts as the youngest member in K-pop group Got7, Yu-gyeom has certainly grown and expanded his musical portfolio. He has been busy putting together and promoting his first solo album. Titled Trust Me, the 14-track album was released in February. He’s also been travelling, and Malaysia was one of the countries on his list.
How does it feel to be part of the Coach opening in The Exchange TRX?
It’s my first time here and I’m quite excited. I’m also surprised by the immense support from my fans here. For that, I’m grateful to be able to do this with the brand.
What do you like about Malaysia so far? Any dishes that you’re looking forward to trying?
