Trophy or not trophy?

Trophy or not trophy?

1 Steven Yeun. He didn't win an Oscar for Best Actor for Minari (2020) but maybe 2024 will be his year? Both Yeun and co-star Ali Wong were fantastic in Netflix's edgy comedydrama, Beef. Yeun played frustrated contractor Danny Cho to absolute perfection. Remember when he burst into tears in church in Episode 3, the first time we see his character be vulnerable? Anyone who says they weren't moved is lying.

2 Killers of the Flower Moon.

Of course, the sixth Martin Scorsese x Leonardo DiCaprio collab is up for Best Picture at the Oscars But we want to see Lily Gladstone, who played Mollie, an Osage woman living in 1920s Oklahoma, win the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama. That scene where she sits on the stairs screaming, knowing her sister was killed, is enough to melt steel beams.

3 Kieran Culkin. It's a toss-up between Culkin and his Succession costars for a drama acting Emmy. But Culkin aced the funny and dramatic scenes (they were often the same). In S4, his breakdown in church at his father's funeral, (he hadn't pregrieved after all) is so ridiculous and sad at the same time, we can't help but applaud.

4 The Last of Us.
