Amal Clooney was more than happy to take charge of hiring domestic help when she and George welcomed their twins, Ella and Alexander in 2017.

With her brilliant legal mind and acute ability to see right through a person, the protective mum, 45, is incredibly selective about the precious few who are allowed inside her family home.

And while friends say the human rights lawyer "trusts her husband implicitly", a new report is claiming Amal has made the recent decision to only hire female staffers who are the polar opposite of "George's type".

"It's no coincidence women in their employ tend to be middle-aged and matronly," an insider told US magazine Globe.

"George was quite the ladies' man until he met Amal."
