Anna Nicole Smith, the Playboy model and Guess Jeans girl who had a meteoric rise to stardom before her tragic death aged 39, is the focus of a new Netflix docuseries.
However, on the eve of the show's airing, reports have emerged that Anna Nicole's ex, Larry Birkhead, along with their shared daughter, Dannielynn, are furious the project was ever greenlit.
Indeed, a source close to the family has confessed Larry was "asked" to be in the documentary but flat out "refused".
Additional sources tell New Idea that both Larry, 50, and Dannielynn, 16, "passed" on the program after discussions with production over who would and wouldn't be included.
Insiders assert that the father and daughter duo are seriously fed up with people using Anna Nicole's name to "make money".
