Any marriage spanning more than 26 years is bound to go through its ups and downs. But if Cate Blanchett and husband Andrew Upton have experienced a recent rough patch (as it has been rumoured), you'd never know it going by these new photos of the pair! Cate and Andrew were all smiles at an event in London on March 7. The couple were celebrating the Aussie actress' new role as creative director of drinks brand Toku Saké.

"They spent most of the evening chatting and laughing together," an onlooker says. "They looked more like a lovedup couple on a first date rather than a pair who've been married for years!" Cate, 54, and Andrew's fun-filled night out helped quash any chatter over the state of their marriage.

In recent months, Cate has been spotted out on numerous occasions without her wedding ring, including at the BAFTA Awards in London on February 18.

And, until their night out last week, she and Andrew, 58, hadn't been seen publicly together since a family holiday in Ibiza last August. They also put their Melbourne home on the market earlier this year, which has contributed to fevered speculation that all was not well.
