Despite his many achievements, including winning Olympic gold medals across two different sports and being named the 2022 Australian of the Year, Dylan Alcott doesn’t see himself as a hero.
“I don’t consider myself a role model – I just try to be authentically me,” the 31-year-old sporting star tells New Idea. “If through doing that I can change the life of even one person living with a disability, then I’ve done my job.”
