Meet the super SWIMMING GRAN!

Kay Burton believes every ocean pool tells a unique story about Australia.

And the 85-year-old great-grandmother is certainly accumulating some historic tales on her quest to swim in as many of the country's beachside baths as she can! Kay began her mission in January 2023 and has since made a splash in 60 watering holes, ranging from the Bogey Hole in Newcastle, which was built by convicts in 1819, to her favourite Greens Pool in Western Australia.

Although she hasn't set a deadline and is doing it for pure joy, Kay hopes to have visited another 30 pools by summer's end.
