When conjuring up thoughts of Italy, there are a few things that instantly come to mind—palatial architecture, delicious cuisine, historic art, picturesque scenery, and luxurious fashion and accessories crafted with that coveted “made in Italy” seal of approval. The Italian Trade Agency is the governmental body that helps advocate for the business development of Italian brands abroad. With offices across Asia, Africa, Europe and America, the agency operates through a worldwide network of 79 offices in 65 countries and offers the ideal gateway for enterprises looking to establish business relationships with Italian partners—whether that be seeking investment opportunities, sourcing products or importing materials.
The agency teamed up with the Italian Eyewear Association (ANFAO) to celebrate the craftsmanship from the region, by proudly hosting seven Italian eyewear brands within an “Italian Pavilion” at the Hong Kong International Optical Fair in November 2023.
