The Scorpio is one of the biggest success stories of the Indian automotive industry, and provides a practical and affordable means of transport to lakhs of families with over eight lakh vehicles sold since its launch in 2002. From then till now, a lot has changed on the Scorpio. What has remained the same are the body-on-frame construction, the longitudinal engine layout with primary-driven wheels being at the rear, the seating for up to seven passengers, the sideways-opening back door and the boxy shape.
The Scorpio-N is in essence an all-new car. On the outside, with its pleasing proportions is a muscular stance, dual rectangular LED headlamps upfront and an iteration of another iconic tail-lamp signature at the rear. There are many small elements that point to a contemporary design including the trendy 17- and 18-inch alloys, the chrome both above and below the bonnet-a strip that connects the headlamps in the front on top of the grille and the skid plate below.
