PADRAIG AMOND’S second-half equaliser handed Woking a share of the spoils in a thrilling encounter with high-flying Solihull Moors at the Laithwaite Community Stadium

Josh Kelly – who had earlier seen an effort chalked off by an offside flag – put the unbeaten visitors in front on 16 minutes.

Amond saw a penalty saved by Solihull keeper Tommy Simkin four minutes later but the Irishman made amends by netting the equaliser eight minutes after the break.

“In the first half, we were outstanding with our shape and had some really good chances. I think we could have stayed on the ball longer,” Solihull boss Andy Whing said. “We switched off with the second ball and the lads gave too much space in the box.

“We got caught on our heels and they won the second ball for the equaliser.”
