This World Vegan Month (November), People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India has named Ahmedabad as India's most vegan-friendly city of 2024. The honour acknowledges the city's growing vegan community, diverse vegan food options and establishments that promote plant-based living.
To celebrate this achievement, PETA India presented a certificate to Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain, thanking the city for fostering an environment conducive to veganism.
