Anti encroachment drive starts in Surat

Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi, who reached Surat after tension spread, supervised police action and issued a stern and direct warning to disruptive elements saying: "Kayda maa rehsho to fayda maa rehsho (you will benefit if you stay within the law).

Sanghavi performed aarti of Lord Ganesha at 2 am on Sunday. Under his direct supervision, Surat city police swung into action overnight and arrested 28 Muslims involved in vandalism and arson. Cases were registered against them under three different sections of the law.
