At the Ahmedabad University's 14th Annual Convocation, Vinita Bali, former managing director of Britannia Industries and acclaimed leader in business and sustainability, had a piece of advice for the graduating students: do not give up curiosity and do not settle for mediocrity; chase excellence.

As many as 830 students received degrees at the convocation. These included 494 students from the Amrut Mody School of Management, 162 from the School of Arts and Sciences and 174 from the School of Engineering and Applied Science. The university awarded doctoral degrees to seven graduates.
