The Gujarat High Court on Thursday, firmly declined to provide relief to Hansol residents regarding the use of a road in the city’s army cantonment area. The court ruled that this area, sought after by residents for commuting purposes, falls under Class “A” military land. This classifi cation signifi es land under the control of the Defence Ministry, over which the local residents or civilians cannot claim rights.
