The founder of CEPT University's School of Planning and a celebrated architect, Christopher Benninger, passed away in Pune after a battle with cancer. He was 81 years old. A six-time recipient of the JK Architect of the Year Award, Benninger stood alongside renowned architects and planners like Geoffrey Bawa, Charles Correa and Balkrishna Doshi.
