In its on-going crack-down on e-cigarette sellers and begging mafi as, the City Crime Branch and the Mahila Wing on Friday rescued three children begging in Navrangpura area and handed them over to the Women and Children Welfare Department.
ACP (Mahila) Himala Joshi told Mirror: “Today, we have rescued three children who were begging. Now we would verify if the children were forced to beg by begging mafias and we would take stern actions against them.
