Cops to deploy night-vision drones along Rajasthan, MP and Maharashtra border to check smuggling of illegal liquor into Gujarat

As the New Year celebrations draw near, the Gujarat police are ramping up their efforts to combat liquor smuggling with cutting-edge technology. Night-vision drones, already successfully deployed by Dahod police to track criminals and monitor illegal activities, will now be used along Gujarat's borders with Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

These drones, equipped to track small vehicles like SUVs navigating isolated roads under cover of darkness, are expected to play a crucial role in thwarting the movement of illicit liquor.
