The central and the state governments have already begun preparations to host the mega event. Mirror takes a look into the ongoing projects and future plans for the games.

State-of-the-art sports enclave

The state government has earmarked Rs 6,000 crore for the development of Olympic infrastructure. A special Gujarat Olympic Planning and Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (GOLYMPIC) has been formed to manage all the projects.

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave in Motera is being developed for the games.
