Edu dept announces stipend hike of 7% per year on Rs 60,000 instead of CAGR

The Education Department has announced that the Gyanshakti Residential Schools, part of the School of Excellence Project, will receive a 7% annual increase on the fixed base amount of Rs 60,000 per student. This decision marks a shift from the initial provision made in 2021, which stipulated that the 7% increase would be applicable to the previous year's stipend.
