How Does Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi Operate From Jail?

Lawrence Bishnoi, who has been imprisoned in Ahmedabad Central Jail for over three years following his arrest in a drug smuggling case, continues to wield influence far beyond the prison walls. Despite being confined to a high-security cell, he has managed to orchestrate criminal activities, including the recent killing of ex-Maharashtra MLA Baba Siddique.

To get to the bottom of it, cops are tracing telephone towers to verify whether calls were made from near the Sabarmati Central Jail. A similar exercise, including thorough check of the jail, was carried out after UP gangster Atik Ahmed was shot dead after his transfer from the Sabarmati Jail and shots were fired at superstar Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang, operating internationally, has claimed responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddique, who was shot dead around 9:30 pm on Saturday outside the office of his son, legislator Zeeshan Siddique, in Bandra. A Facebook post by a member of the Bishnoi gang claimed that they targeted Baba Siddique due to his alleged links with Dawood Ibrahim.
