The Ahmedabad city crime branch arrested Rajshree Kothari, one of the directors of Khyati Multispeciality Hospital, from Kota in Rajasthan. With this, the total number of arrests so far in the case has reached eight.
Visiting cardiologist Dr Prashant Vazirani, hospital CEO Rahul Jain, marketing director Chirag Rajput, marketing executive Milind Patel, his two assistants Pankil Patel and Pratik Bhatt, and hospital director Sanjay Patolia have been arrested so far. Hospital chairman Kartik Patel is still on the run, police said.
