The Special Operation Group (SOG) of the Ahmedabad police seized fake Australian dollars being printed at a press in the Vatva area, perhaps the first such instance. Four individuals were arrested. They have been identified as Maulik Patel (36), Dhruv Desai (20), Khush Patel (24) and Ronak Patel (24). This is purportedly the first reported instance of fake currency printing in state.
