  • ILLEGAL STREAMING OF T-20 WORLD CUP MATCHES

The City Cyber Cell arrested two people in a major crackdown on illegal streaming of live T-20 World Cup cricket matches, including the India-Pakistan match. Cops arrested Divyanshu Patel of Mehsana and Aakashgiri Goswami, an employee of IndusInd Bank. The Cyber Cell also booked a Pakistani national Azhar Amin who used to provide the encoder and other technical services to the accused to live stream the matches. Cops said he helped in the live streaming of all matches across all sports including cricket and football for those who were part of the syndicate.
