The Sardar Sarovar dam recorded a level of 136.16 metres on Sunday afternoon as against the full reservoir level of 138.68 metres. The administration has alerted over 100 villages downstream due to rise in the water levels in the reservoir after release of water from the Omkareshwar dam in Madhya Pradesh and heavy rains in the catchment area.
