State asks CID Crime to probe land related frauds

CID Crime to probe an organised gang cheating people in name of buying or selling land on the pretext of constructing a religious structure or cow shelter

The state government has handed over an inquiry to the CID crime branch about an organised gang operating in different parts of the state, extracting huge amounts of money and cheating people in the name of building religious structures or cow shelters.

The action has come close on the heels of several such complaints which were received by Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi.
