Dr Stephen Cox, 65, was sentenced yesterday after being found guilty of 12 counts of indecent assault on Friday.
He was acquitted of a further four counts following a four-week retrial.
The court heard that Cox repeatedly targeted seven women patients at his surgery in Bracknell, Berks, on the pretext of carrying out routine medical examinations between 1988 and 1997.
