THE BBC is paying for the therapy of a vulnerable woman who made two complaints against Huw Edwards, it emerged yesterday.
The disgraced newsreader, 62, is said to have been warned over his conduct and lawyers were drafted in following an exchange of online messages between the pair.
The woman, a member of the public who is in her 40s, made her first complaint two years before Edwards was suspended for allegedly paying £35,000 to a young person for sexually explicit photos.
Despite being warned by bosses to cease contact with the woman, known only as Rachel, the correspondence continued until he was taken off air last year, it was claimed yesterday.
